Motherboard

Motherboard is the main circuit board of a microcomputer. The motherboard contains the connectors for attaching additionalboards. The motherboard contains the CPU, BIOS, memory, mass storage interfaces, serial and parallel ports, expansion slots,and there has meny of the controllers that's required to control standard peripheral devices, such as the display screen, keyboard, and disk drive. All of these chips that reside on the motherboard are known as the motherboard's chipset.

Most of the PCs, it is possible to add memory chips directly to the motherboard. You may also be able to upgrade to a fasterPC by replacing the CPU chip. To add additional core features, you may need to replaced the motherboard entirely.

Computer

Computer is a programmable machine thats designed to sequentially and automatically carry out a sequence of arithmetic or logical operations. The particular sequence of operations can be changed rapidly, allowing the computer to solve more than one kind of problems.

A computer's processing unit executes series of instructions that make it read, manipulate and then store data. Conditional instructions changed the sequence of instructions as a function of the current state of the machine or it environment.

First of the electronic computers were developed in the mid-20th century (1940–1945). They were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers (PCs).
